The base Revalver program is free and includes a few amp heads and cabs.
Other Models to add on have a cost.

What's unique about Revalver is you can edit the schematics on many of the models. Do things like Change the tubes to different types, change the tone stacks, change the interaction of the speaker to the amp, ...
It's like a friendly Spice (circuit simulation) for musicians.
Most all amps these days are first modeled and simulated in Spice then made in hardware.
This lets the average musician customize their own head. If you get something working good you then have a schematic that could be migrated to Spice if you want one built.
One thing I hope Revalver does is get official endorsements by the manufacturers who heads they are modeling. I'd like to see that the original engineers approve of the simulations in Revalver. Right now all the sims in Revalver have some cutsie name to hint at the original. They should instead approach and work with the original. Maybe now that it's not Peavey they could do this.
