Reverb Effects Pedal for Bass

Can anyone recommend a decent reverb effects pedal for bass that's not insanely expensive?

I'm finding the Joyo Space reverb to be serviceable. Really small and cheep too. Up from that there's Keeley and TC elect. with toneprint options and DOD. Keeley has lots of classic sounding reverbs. Don't be tempted by Oceans 11, I just like the shimmer and the harmonizer on it, the reverbs seem too brassy.

It's really the only one I know of that's designed to not muddy up bass instruments.

A used Mooer Shim Verb is not insanely expensive.
A new one would cost you something around $ 60,-.

i've always wanted a nimbus. only have heard good things. i use a TCE hall of fame. more versatile than you'll ever need for bass. but it can add some nice openness without the drown. much added value are the custom toneprints. there are about 20 of them for bass

It's helpful to know what kinds of reverb you want. One pedal could do a beautiful Shimmer verb but another could have a great Spring. Do you need a Reverb with lots of different tones or just one or two good ones?

Are you looking for new or used options? Shopping used will take your budget a bit further.

Also what are your intentions? Do you need a huge, ambient reverb to fill some space? Do you just want to experiment with Reverb? How do you plan on using the effect? This should help you get more relevant suggestions.

For a budget pedal that sounds freaking awesome, I'd recommend the Boss RV-3. It has delay and verb in there and can do some pretty cool stuff. There's a link to some Reverb.com sales. You can always offer someone something and see if they take it. I think you'd be able to get it at your price point in the UK as well.

I think the tone control on the EQD Levitation does a similar filtering thing on the input to the reverb. Might get one for about £100 secondhand?

Lots of reverbs have tone controls. Even the ones that don't will still usually work fine on bass.

I've been using EQD Dispatch Master...reverb and delay in one pedal. You can use either effect on its own or simultaneously. Great pedal with NO loss of low end. You can pick up a used one for about £100.

Cusack makes a nice reverb pedal. Not too heavy, or spendy.
