If I hold my phone at arm's length and squint a bit with my glasses off, it looks pretty good and could definitely be accidentally mistaken for a nice bass.

At a minimum, the way those 2 middle strings are wound makes me uncomfortable. I’d have to play it first, but I still wouldn’t spend that for it.

I could find a really decent bass for $530 shipped.
 
If you’re too lazy to do all the other parts of building well, omitting the time consuming work of putting in frets is just par for the course.
It's unfair to call it lazy when he's charging the low hundreds for fully custom basses.

When somebody wants a fully custom bass and isn't willing to spend four-digit sums for one, this is the level of work they should be expecting.

Fun fact: Wish is in Winston-Salem, and Roscoe is in the city next door, Greensboro.
