reverb

hey peoples,
im looking for an extremely cold, digital reverb. did a search but most people are looking for a nice warm reverb so it didnt help :( havn't been able to find the sound thats in my head on a youtube clip so i apologise for the lack of reference points, but hopefully you guys have come across some really cold verbs in your time.

cheers

Considering that the very idea of reverb is to impart "warmth" in the sense of a living, breathing space, you might have a tough time. Maybe a better idea would be to get a digital delay and set it for a long enough repeat to approximate a reverb sound. It would likely sound more cold and artificial than a dedicated reverb pedal, but at the same time create that feeling of an open space.

the delay pedal isn't a bad idea. i think i've got one lying around somewhere ill see if i can dig it out.

the bloke at my local billy hyde's (australias answer to GC) couldn't help me much. all he could suggest was a boss RV5 but after playing for a few minutes i could tell it wasnt what i was after. but they do have a pretty limited range in pedals. i was thinking maybe the digiverb might do the trick. my experience with digitech (for the most part) is there effects are very sterile and cold. any opinions on the digiverb?
