Submission Revival - ABB

By request and one of many Allman Brothers Band transcriptions here in this forum. The bass line is tough to hear, but here's what I think I'm hearing. Notice the modulation from A to Aminor (and time signature change to 5/4) in measure 25.

Correct. The beat stayes the same, so it's something/4
They play 4+1/4 = 5/4

But what if I hear it as 4 + 4 + 2?

5/4 + 5/4 = 4 + 4 + 2

My first thought (as always)...I can count to 5.
10? Maybe not.

Anyway, 4+4+2 would be how I'd count it.
Then again, I was once told that no one was more engrained in 4/4 than me.
Ouch.

Aah, now I see. You guys count 196bpm. I count @ 98bpm (double time feel)

Thanks. I fixed the time signature and corrected a couple of notes. Those dotted eighths in the 5/4 section make me think the phrasing is 3 and 2.

I wouldn't write the dotted 8ths, but dotted 8th - 16th tied to 8th - 8th tied to 16th - dotted 8th

I know what it takes to transcribe a/any bass line. The more I try to transcribe the more I appreciate my colleagues, who do that hard job (but very rewarding) on a regular basis and for free.
