This next week I have a number or rehearals, with a few 2+ hour shows the following week. The rehearsals are typicall 4 hours (or more). I usually run with three wireless systems, 1 uhf and 2 vhf. Until now a single system would hold up for an entire rehearsal. Twice in the last few weeks I had one transmitter die about 2 hours in and had to make an emergency swap-out (thank God for backups). But this system is less than 2 years old and I would have expected it not to crap out so early in its life. My oldest system (Lekato 5.8 ghz) is about 4 years old and keeps on going. Other than the early battery death, My UHF system functions fine.
Is there a way/trick to jump-start the battery and bring it back to its full charge potential to last more than 2 hrs?
