Reviving a dead thread ???

Hello, I am from the distant future and have come across this really old thread about old threads. However to avoid being flamed I have travelled back in time to december 2008 to post a warning in this thread to all bass players.
The music scene in my future is awful, bass players have been replaced by keyboardists with 3 left hands!! I am giving you this information so you may take up arms against this threat to bassdom....

. And I don't think it losts its relevance one bit.
Once again I admit that the recent Zombie threads have been hilarious to read, fortunately some people, despite of several reminders, still "answers" the OP.
Pantsman, do You still have that Ashton tube head going strong in the distant future, ther's been quite a few concerns about the reliability of these Chinese amps and tubes in general?
Now, if I only knew how to reopen the poll.....

Yes, the amp is still going strong! in 2050 there was a massive technological backlash and tubes are now back in common use. Infact they invented a new output tube thats good for 900watts, I have 6 in my modified Ashton. 5400 watts off all tube mmmmmmmmm
Well if it did I would add some led weights, I enjoy my heavy gear! It makes me feel like it louder and bassier when its heavier

If the forum software would warn clearly along the lines of "Note: The last post in this thread is more than 2 months old" in the quick reply box and advanced editor, most zombies could probably be avoided. Possibly augmented by explicit confirmation if the thread is even older.
I know I've been guilty of posting in old threads because someone else has resurrected them and they've popped up on the new posts page.
I don't much care for zombie movies(w/the exception of that one w/the guy that gets a nail through his _____;

It's really only on a rare occasion you see some noob posting in an actual zombie thread. If it happens I'll just move on my way.

The only reson I bumped this ol thread is the couple of rather hilarious 4 and 8 IIRC old threads that had a few of the TBs best & oldest posting like the OP had posted yesterday, not just noobs.
Quite often mods close those threads for a good reason.
On the other hand, there's been a couple of very informative threads in amps resurrected lately, with new information and fresh views, good for the archieve building POV, I think.
I've seen polls re-opened. I'm not a computer geek, so I can't figure it out, any help??
Not that it really matters that much, i have a feeling that the percentages wouldn't necessarily change that much.
