I'm from sweden and i just saw these really cool ric clones made by a company called eagle, they for sale on this website: Invalid Link Removed and i wonder how they managed to get away with this?
Arent rickenbacker notorious for having copyrights on every little design aspect of their instruments, and don't they sue everybody who copies their instruments in any way?

Check out the site. They have all sorts of copies. Music Man, Jazz and P Basses too. I don't know what currency they use there, but if the prices listed are Euro's - The Ric is just under $10,000
If they are priced in the Swedish Krona then the bass is under $1,000

I'm not planing on buying one, just thought that it was wierd that there is such an accurate ric copy for sale.
But the copy is less than half the price you have to pay for a real rickenbacker in sweden so if i were in the market for a ric i would definitely consider buying the copy.

After I put one it the bucket it showed kr after the price. I think that a grand for a copy might not be bad depending on the quality. Look, people all the time pay $2,000+ for a Lakland or whatever and the original is about $1,000, so there you pay more for the copy than the original.
Looks like a cool copy to me.
