Can you order a custom bass from Rickenbacker???

given that there is a 2 year wait on new production models, I'd imagine that if you could it would probably take 5 years to get it,

I'm almost positive that Ric doesn't have a custom shop for basses.

As was stated above, they have a large backlog for their regular production basses, it would probably be a long wait if they did agree to make a custom bass, plus they would probably charge a small fortune.

You sure can! Just so long as it has exactly the same specs as a 4001, 4003, or 4004, and comes in JetGlow, MapleGlo, or FireGlo.

I believe the customs are at about an 18 month backorder at this point.

My fretless Ric was ordered as a custom and I received it in about 10 weeks. That was 20 years ago though...
