I just picked up 2 4004 humbucking Ric pickups. Now the question I ask is will these fit in a 4003? I'm thinking the neck pickup should be a direct replacement, but I'll have to fashion some sort of plate/bracket for the bridge pickup. Does anyone have any input on doing this? I was thinking of making an aluminum ring with the tabs for the mounting screws drilled and tapped.
