Richard Bona

Just got my Mike Stern DVD (with Richard Bona on bass and Dennis Chambers on drums) live in Paris DVD.
Richard is one awesome bass player. I saw him at Blues Alley in DC with Stern last year and was completely blown away.

I'm curious to hear what others think of his playing.

man, you are so lucky to have seen Bona at Blues Alley!

I saw him at the Atlanta Jazz Festival in 2003. Great, great player, super nice guy. I recently heard him on the radio in the Jaco Pastorius Big Band - he knows his Jaco.
