Hollow body with an F hole, a single P style pickup and three knobs. Looks like a Fender (?) headstock with y shaped tuners. If something like that had shown up in my local store in 1996, I would have scooped it up in a heartbeat! (And probably still would). Sounds great in this recording. Levon is looking and sounding great here, too.Yamaha?
Must have had a small chamber for the F-hole, that doesn’t look thick enough to be fully hollow body.Hollow body with an F hole, a single P style pickup and three knobs. ... just like my G&L ASAT thinline which I owned at that time. Always wished they made a five string version.Must have had a small chamber for the F-hole, that doesn't look thick enough to be fully hollow body.
I thought it was a G&L, maybe a prototype. It doesn't sound like a loaner either, He sounds real comfortable with it, he's dropping low notes and the grease is there as always with Rick. The greats we grew up with, sure are time proven greats and make me run to a bass when I hear them.... just like my G&L ASAT thinline which I owned at that time. Always wished they made a five string version.
