Picked up an early 70's Rickenbacker 4001. The bass needs to be rewired, but it also seems like the neck pickup is toast. Visually the pickup looks fine, but there is no resistance when measured with a multimeter. The poles are held in place by some type of epoxy but are easily removable. What are my options with this pup?
