Thanks, that makes sense. I purchased a 1980 4003 with an aftermarket case. There’s a lefty vintage reissue case on Reverb, which is just like my 360 case, but a lefty. Would love to have that silver case for only $200. But yea, will continue to look.
I imagine it would work OK. My '73 4001 lives in an aftermarket case; I seriously doubt that it's a left handed one. I can tell you that it does not fit in there upside down, though. But, yeah, your Rick should fit in either case...
That’s what I’m thinking. I believe they shipped lefties in the silver reissued castes for awhile as they didn’t have form fitted ones for left handed basses. Not sure where I heard that though.
