On both of my Rickenbacker 4003 High Gains pickups the pole positions for the A and D strings are a bit higher than they are for the E and G strings. Does anybody know the reason for that? It also seems that the G string is a little weaker than the D string, so I'm wondering if there is any relationship to it.
