I can’t even imagine how good it sounds.I have an addition to the P-bass end of things.
Was fortunate to pick up an early '58 recently!View attachment 3118203
The body's been refinished, but everything else is original.
Best neck ever!

Does the P have to be a Fender?
Yes, per the rules on page 1. They can be parts basses, as long as the majority of parts are Fender, the neck especially.
Wow!!!Did a little experimenting with the two of them, swapping the necks.

The '58 neck on the '63 body is my absolute favorite!
View attachment 3126665 Ok, I'll play. Can I get #21 ? If not I'll take any. Thanks.

Can I have a number please.
Here is my 2003 Higway One and my 2018 Ricky 4003s.
The P has been played quite a lot during the years and you can feel it, it’s just so vibrant and lively.
The Ricky is without a doubt the best sounding of the Rickys I have owned (and sold), this one is number 4 and it feels really ”played in”, resonant, even sounding, sustaining forever, vibrant...
I play the P with my rock band playing original songs and the Rick I use with my Beatles tribute band. Both are strung with rounds, don’t remember the brand on the P, the Rick has the original strings.
Both these are keepers!

View attachment 3130417 I’ve been a member of this club for quite some time but I guess I’ll officially join now... here’s my entry.
‘62 CS P, ‘85 V63 & ‘77 P. Original owner of all and they’re all very special in their own way...
Number please!
Hey Kevin, yes they are. I’ve posted her a few times over at the Resource. I’ve been a member there since like 2002. I just don’t post often. I’ve always said that it’s the closest thing you will see to a RM1999. It has a wonderfully thin neck too!Awesome V63! Does it have magnetic shoes?
