Rickenbacker TR 100 amp.

I was out browsing today, and came across an old Rickenbacker TR 100 bass amp with a Ricky 215 cabinet apparently of the same vintage. It was $375. What's the deal on these things?

$375 for the head & cab is a good deal. Those are pretty rare from what I understand. When I do see them around Seattle, they want alot for them. Kinda wacky looking, if I remember correctly. I'd buy it, but I love that type of stuff. I used to own a hell of alot more gear than I do now (I got out of it for a couple years). I'm slowly building up a collection again though...

I have the original Rickenbacker catalog and price sheets showing and listing Rickenbackers entire amp line-up for 1981. It also lists the specs of each amp and cabinet if you're interested.

The head is rated for output 100 watts @ 4 ohms and the cabinet impedence is 4 ohms.

Yeah, not the older one that I was thinking of; those are cool. Maybe if you picked it up somewhere for like $100 it would be cool for practice or something. I've never played through one of those (that's pictured). Anybody out there ever played on one? Don't lie, we can tell if you're lying! (LOL)

I know this is a long shot as this post is now 16 years old, but I am interested in that catalog. I recently acquired an sg412 cabinet and can't find info on it anywhere.
