Double Bass RIG SETUP HELP FOR EUB

Hi, I'm new at upright, I just got a vx410 hartke cabinet & planning to get 1 more cab.. Should this be a 4x10 or a 115 to get the better sound for an ampeq like upright bass ?

Currently I'm using a powered mixer but I'll power t his gig with a lh500 hartke..

It's this a good setting at all ?

Raezers Edge 10 inch or 12 inch cabinet paired with a Clarus.

I happen to have the set up, including the cabinet actually made by Rich before he was killed.

Incredible equipment.

a 410 is a great stand alone cab....but adding a 15 is a plus...what type of music your doing? i myself done Latin Jazz,Salsa etc...i use to own a azola bugbass but now i own a cremona upright with a magnetic bass pickup (string charger) and ns wav bass.. which IMHO has a great babybass tone.

i have almost the same set-up as yours...expect the head i use is a 3500..great head BTW.. i just traded one recent..but you shouldnt have any problems with your current set-up..but if i was to add another it will defintely be a 15"

I have an ampeq like baby bass and like to play salsa.. What kind of rig do you recommend ?

i've seen guys with a combo kick back or a gig with 2 4x10s or is better a 1 4x10 and 1 1x15 ?

And if I have to choose 1 cab between the 410 and the 115 which one will be more apropiated for the latin music ?

I do apologize for this inconvenience.

I never said I didn't like the 4 x 10, I am just trying to get the best sound out of my instrument and since I'm new at this I have to ask. However my friend recomend 2 cabs 4 x 10 will be perfect for a baby bass. I'm just going to order the second one.

Well, I think this is overkill, but YMMV.
What's important is what *you* hear and what *you* like.
If you are new at this, you may want to play for some time with some setup, and then decide if something needs to be changed.

Yes, he's being playing baby bass for about 20 years or more all over the world and recently I saw one of the guys from one of the most famous salsa bands using the same set up. Usually we have from 3 to 6 brass people, 3 percusionist Conga, Bongo & cowbell , Timbales. 3 singers and piano so I don't know if that's the reason, and the baby fills the stage with that punch sound... ?

P.S. He mentioned 1 410 is fine but 2 of them is the ideal thing...

Now the bassguitar guys definitely recommend 1 4x10 and 1 1x15 but looks like is different for the Baby bass...
