I see that heath has the Behringer tuner. I was considering that one because of the price. I had read one review on SameDayMusic that it was slow and couldn't handle the low B. Do you have any experience with that?

It works just alright.

There are a lot slower tuners out there, however, there are MUCH MUCH faster ones.

for the price I think it is very good, how can you beat it for that price anyways?

It doesn't like to tune below a low E, but it will it just takes longer.

Whenever I tune my B or tune down I just use the harmonics.

A Randall RPM-300 power amp (scored it for $10!), Ampeg SVT 410HEN, and a Trace Elliot 1518T, all powered by a sansamp, a proco rat2 and a boss ls-2 to blend in the clean signal.

Now that chapter 3 is in full swing, it occurred to me that no matter how 'doomie' we think our rigs of doom are, there is always someone with a bigger one. I can't keep up with many of you, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying the pics. Carry on!

Ok, here's a new picture with the new head. Isn't quite end of the word doom yet, but once I add another cab it will be. Right now it's at about 680 watts at 8 ohms... once I add another cab (another 212 or a 410) it will be 1200 watts at the 4 ohm load.

But here we go, A lot more doomy than my LMII was for sure:

Uhhh its sorta a joke, but I have played through this for fun

This is a quad amp PA the configuration in the photo is.

4 Servodrive Basstech 7's 10.5' folded horns. They are capable of 142dB @ 1600 Watts 1 meter from ~28Hz to 120Hz (crossed over at 80Hz)

2 dual JBL 2225 custom cabs (crossed over at 80Hz and 300Hz)

4 single EVM 12L TL505 cabs (Crossed from 300HZ to 1500Hz)

4 JBL 2445's splayed 90 degrees (Crossed from 1500Hz on up)

If you ever wanted to scare people with your low B this rig would do it!

should i add a 215 mesa roadready cab with matching grill to go with my rig? its the same size housing as the 610 i currently have.

right now this rig is 1400 watts bridged at 4 ohms. if i added the matching 215 i would get a bigger power amp too and maybe look at running 1000 watts into each cab.

Oh my gosh!! This "Chapter 3" of 'Rigs of Doom' seriously delivers the goods... eye candy for days and days.. I wish I still had a strong back thou . ha ha.. then I might consider having some gear like this myself.
