What cabinet is underneath the MusicMan head on the left?

hey billy,

the cabinet under the musicman is a 15" folded horn made by super musical instruments. the seller told me they were a cabinet manufacturer out of queens ny in the 70's. the speaker that's currently in there is just a beater that i had lying around, but it still sounds pretty good!

i don't use it too often unless i'm playing long rooms for the reason that it throws so much of the sound. i could never play solely out of that cab. wouldn't even be able to hear myself.

i just picked up my acoustic 6x12 guitar cab though. that things a beauty. i'll post pictures of it along with this rig soon and clean up the setup a bit. looks so sloppy.

Holy Cow! I just asked a question regarding that cab in another thread about a replacement 15" speaker! I thought the company was named Soundtronics, but that is the identical cab. The driver fires backwards into the horn, right? I have the original JBL E140 that I bought with it, but I want to replace it with something with more power handling for use outdoors. Any suggestions, please?

Wow, those are gorgeous!!! Are they original or have they been restored? Also, what is the control layout on the 2000S? With four input jacks I'm guessing two of them are Volume.

Thanks. They are all original with the exception of the 2-15 cabinet which was completely restored with vintage original Sunn grill cloth and tolex.

Here's a closer pic of the 2000S head:
Front control panel= 2-bright inputs, 2 normal inputs, volume, treble, bass, contour and a bass boost switch, standby, polarity and power switches:

Where did you get the hangers for your bass that hook on the handle? I had that idea a while ago but never got around to doing anything. If they are available off the shelf I will get some for sure!!

You guys have some pretty righteous rigs.

Here is my current setup. It's the Kustom Groove 1200HD head, an Avatar B212 Neo, and a Behringer BA410. I like how it sounds and feels (funny story about that). The weakest link is probably the Behringer, but I'll probably replace it with an Avatar 410 and 210 en el futuro.

I would like to get a rack tuner to fill that space and get better tuning. I have a small pocket tuner but it is too slow to respond and is pretty inconvenient.

I see that heath has the Behringer tuner. I was considering that one because of the price. I had read one review on SameDayMusic that it was slow and couldn't handle the low B. Do you have any experience with that?

here's my almost completed rig of doom. I build both the cabinets and am in the process of building a 6U rack case for the rest. poweramp is an alto mac2.3 (never seen them around before) which i bought slightly used for $225 cad. it's also 1600 watts.
