the bass side of the room. svt runs the 2 810s v4 runs the folded horn from hell. mix n match fuzz.

Ok, the multicolor strings aren't exactly doomy, but this rig gets insanely loud! I am not embarrassed to call it a vintage SVT killer: it's smaller, lighter, louder, and unlike the original I can dial in the exact amount of overdrive I want (or none at all) at pretty much any volume level. (Note: I adore the vintage SVT, nothing sounds as great when it's run in the "sweet spot", but I prefer my rig for the reasons already stated).

Rundown:
SansAmp RBI: I use this to kick in Presence and extra OD for harder rock
Reiner Amplification all-tube preamp: my main tone machine, has 4-band inductor EQ
Stewart World 2.1 power amp, 2000W bridged into 4 ohms
Bergantino NV610: sealed cab w/no tweeter, LOUD

Nice Rig and I do have some MB gear myself. Just not sure this is "Doom" or not. I was not even sure about posting my 1100W SVT6-Pro with 2 x Mesa Engineering 410's. It's pretty ******* loud though.

It's absolutely not in a league approaching most of these in this thread but it's my 'lil slice of heaven :) 2 15s and 500 watts is plenty for this old school guy heh.

Well I've been trying to get a workable balance between the Bugera and Peavey, but I just couldn't get it to work. I was on the verge of returning the Bugera...until:

I swapped the roles of the heads, peavey for distortion and bridge PU, and clean bassy neck PU for the Bugera. The Bugera 1960 has an astonishing amount of Bass. I can now get a really even and controllable grindy distortion. Sounds way better thank cranking the Bugera.
