Ring modulation anyone?

To me for some reason, the ehx (trapezoidal) freq analyzer is super rad and a fairly underrated pedal. Besides its large size I'd probly says it a clear winner. Flexible, cheap, and it sounds great. I can elaborate more if ya'd like.
Have you compared this trapezoidal radness to the XO version? I'm considering picking one up for live use, since the Blue Ringer is a bit of a challenge outside of the studio.

i've never tried the x/o version but i'm assuming it works the same if not better. but that's what the general consensus is. i don't think it's like the whole x/o bms vs trapezoidal bms or regular small clone vs. the x/o small clone

I really love MoogerFooger pedals, but they're such a huge footprint. I'm looking at ring mods too, but I'm actually leaning toward that Android, because it puts out great sound, but I think the final selling point is that its such a tiny footprint on my already crowded board.

I have played both the Android and the Antenna 2 and they are both great pedals. Copilot makes some great effects, and they are incredibly affordable. The Android is a very good ring mod. I definitely prefer it to the EHX.

Never got a chance to play the Moog (that and the delay are the only Moogers I haven't tried yet), but Moogs are ALWAYS worth the money if you can afford it. Yeah huge footprint, but the sound quality is unmatched.

I'm not denying the quality of the Moogers. I have a LPF101 and I will never part with it, but I think if I was to add another Mooger it wouldn't be the Ring Mod, but rather the BassMurf. I do find their sound superb, but that Copilot pedal (for ring mod purposes) is plenty good and it's not going to eat up real estate (not to mention require a big huge adaptor on my plug space). I'm actually looking to make two copilot purchases. The Orbit and the Android. I'm going to replace my EHX BMS with the Orbit, that will free up even more space. :)
