"Dateline" just did it's entire episode tonight on Johnny (which isn't bad, since it's an hour show and he died this morning)

He was the consumate professional. His private life only came out when HE thought it would get a good laugh (ie him singing with Julio Iglesias) He never upstaged his guests, he treated everyone with respect, and he could make more people laugh with just a single look than most people could do with their entire repetiore of jokes.

I think he was possibly one of the funniest people to ever live.

"Technically, doesn't that make her a pastatute?"

Goodnight, Johnny. You got a great gig waiting for you up in the sky. You first guests are Thomas Edison and Jesus!!
