What a shame… Johnny Carson was always such a gentleman, and a perfect host - never upstaging his guests, and always making them feel so at ease on his show. His imitators have always fallen a long way short of the original - such a lovely man! RIP

Heard about Johnny on the news just recently .

There was mention that in private life, Johnny was never very comfortable with fame. I did not know this .
