RIP Jonathan Athon

Jonathan Athon, bassist of Black Tusk passed away today from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. I only met him once, when my band opened up for them, but years later, he gave me a cool "what's up" from the stage when I walked into a club they were playing. He was rocking a T-40. He was only 32.

Shattered to hear the news. Really surprised its not getting more buzz around here but I suppose Black Tusk aren't the biggest band doing rounds right now. Regardless its a massive loss to the metal community and one I'm sure will be felt for a long time.
