RIP Robbie Coltrane

I only just heard about this - hasn't been mentioned on the TV news yet.
I didn't know (or completely forgot) he was in the Harry Potter movies, as I've steadfastly avoided them, but he was a big part of the TV comedy scene in the 80's (I seem to remember him playing a Cyclops in the University Challenge episode of The Young Ones, and was in one of those comedy sketch shows - maybe A Kick Up The 80's?).
He's probably most well known (to non-wizardry fans) for his move from comedy into drama, with the detective series Cracker.
Personally whilst I always liked him back then, he really soared in my opinion when I discovered that my boss went to school with Robbie (I think his real name was something like McMillan), and that young Robbie used to beat my boss up - seems we both thought that guy was a complete tool.
