Indeed. Such a bummer.
The first time I ever saw him was in The Hitcher. I think of him everytime I see a hitchhiker. It stills creeps me out.

I have not seen that movie, but if you like what it appears to be about you should check out the Zatoichi franchise of movies and tv shows for proper “blind swordsman” content.

My friend and I saw that movie only because Keith Emerson wrote the score. I remember we both loved the music but we both loved the movie as well.
Super great Actor, was locked on him once I viewed the hitchhiker about 4 times. And every movie he was in after that.

He would be remembered as a great based just on Blade Runner. He was a great actor.
