A San Francisco icon. A lot of us mocked that song later, but the truth is that song helped draw a lot of us here. Haight Street has gone through a lot of changes since the 60's but the spirit of peace, love and brotherhood still lives on. Thanks Scott for that message.

I got to meet Scott when I was the FOH engineer for The Mamas & The Papas residency at Michael's Pub in NYC during the fall of 1987; Scott was a member of that band taking the place of Denny Doherty. He was a wonderfully generous guy and a great singer. RIP.
