hey guys i just fell in love with the Ritter Supernova bass Aram Bedrosian uses but it's way too expensive for me ... what's a cheaper alternative that is built similarly to the ritter? i'd say sandberg basic ken taylor...am i right?

I think many are actually built better than Ritter.

I've seen plenty and tried plentyWOW, I guess you never saw a Ritter in person. Actually, Ritter is top notch. Mr. Ritter is one of the rare persons who knows what to do to make stuff perfect....
I think the big thing with Ritter is his custom electronics. If memory serves me they are Quad buckers. You can get something similar from a number of pickup companies and have someone spec build you a bass.Im sure there are a number of alternatives that can be eqed to get you in a similar ballpark. Ive never held or even seen a Ritter to discuss quality. As far as playability same scenario..Ritter has his thing going..so if you like it..again have someone spec it to similar dimensions.
What Im saying is Im sure you can get fairly close without breaking the bank. Remember some of his cost involves VAT and all those foreign taxes /charges they contend with.
