Road Runner Premium Gig Bag

I checked mine and it is actually the RR5TEB
I really like it

It’s not as protective as my mono or Sadowsky bag, but it’s a fraction of their cost. I grabbed one for $50 or so and I’ll certainly grab another if they go near that again

You didn't think the 5teb was a solid bag?
My first gig bag, was kind of impressed... A bit easier to deal with than all my "solid" plywood cases
Do you have a Mono or Sadowski?
I like the whole top opening up for storage... How does that compare to the other gigbags you have?

So are all these bags the same build quality, just different colors? I’m cornfused by the TEB talk and all…
I have the standard black and also the stealth camo version. The only difference I can see is the outside material.

The standard black feels rougher and tougher than the stealth camo, which feels smooth and thin in comparison.

While I like them both, if durability is a major concern, I would avoid the stealth camo. Just my honest opinion.

I just looked at close-ups of all three and see what you mean. The Stealth Camo definitely has a smoother finish than the Black and Espresso. Don't know if it would affect the ruggedness, but in theory, it looks like it could. Possibly more prone to a rip if snagged on something sharp? But that's just speculation on my part.

That's my expectation, though I'm not willing to test the theory. :D

Again, I'm happy with both bags, but I feel the standard version (and likely the espresso) has a more rugged cover.

This is what i have found also...
Outside material of "black" Highway Premium is thicker and adds some rigidity and weight to the case...
The camo material is thinner and slicker...i wondered if it would hold up as well...
Otherwise very close to being the same
Great price for a bag, that has already seen some mileage...

Can't believe that these haven't sold out yet. I got one, and they are really good bags, with a LOT of cargo room.
Exactly! The amount of cargo room has to be more than ANY other bag on the market. the pouch is the full size of the case. In my mind this is the perfect gig bag. REALLY well designed. I feel like buying them and stacking them like cord wood in my closet.

Tuba...
I agree with both you and G Rich...
Why haven't they dold out yet, when they have so many great features!?
I just got another new Highway Black, and now am going to get a second set of "stuff" for the new bag --small screw driver, hex wrenches, stringvwinder etc, which fit with room to spare!

I didn't want to post that i was getting a new one, because i was affraid they'd sell out!!

Maybe the reasonable cost makes people think this is a cheap bag... To bad, if that is the case... I think you get a lot of bang for your buck-- especially when I see the price tags on some of these.... How much can foam cost??
