I was listening to "Timmy Tucker" from Warts and All Vol.1 last night, and I was struck again how great his tone was on this recording.
Might be a long shot, but does anybody know what kind of bass he was playing back then (2001)? I know he's using Ritter now, but I wanna know exactly what was delivering these magic tones. It definitely sounds like an active bass with bright strings on it.
