Robin Sylvester of Ratdog

I just happen to see Bob Weir & Ratdog on Conan Obrien last week and thought the bassist was just using a pick but when they showed him he was using a very strange technique. He was kind of fingerpicking like a guitarist using his thumb and fingers. Im pretty sure he was playing this way although he couldve easily been using a pick. He played very solid bass with some melodic runs. I had never heard of him or the band before. Both were very good.

I was going down the Bob Welch YouTube rabbit hole today, and came upon "Live at the Roxy 1981" with Robin Sylvester on Bass. Great player!
