Agreed. There’s a live set on Spotify called “Welcome to the Hills” that seems to have similar songs. Very enjoyable.
I will point out that Rocco is more feel and less technique - his time isn’t awesome and I can hear a lot of clams. But somehow it works and he sounds terrific.

Ive seen them a few times. Yusuf has pulled together quite a team! They all play super well together, the vibe is right, the songs sound tight, and the shows are fun to watch!
One interesting thing that I noted is that Rocco uses two octave pedals on his board and feeds one into the other to get these super deep tones that somehow still have notes. He also uses that EQD pedal with the old school phone on it… can’t remember what it’s called rn. But he uses it to good effect (see what I did there? lol)… never too much, which is often a problem that a lot of us effect-using bassists suffer from.

I saw them last weekend and had the opposite experience. Loved his playing, but could barely distinguish notes from one another.
Could be the venue, could be a bad night, or some backline rentals… I dunno. But I’ve seen them three times and they were either great or just good each time and I didn’t have any problems hearing Rocco’s notes *shrug*
Might've been the venue. He was playing the Aguilar head but in a 8x10 Ampeg.

Nice! I’m checking out a demo of the C4 now. Did he have is usual Aguilar/Ampeg fridge?
They didn’t have the head on top of the amp at the venue where I saw them, sadly. It was definitely a fridge for the cab though
