Rocktron Basis Programmable Bass Preamp - Oddball or Unicorn?

Took a flyer on this one. Closest thing I could find to it on the Rocktron site was the Programmable Bass Preamp. Nothing that said "Basis". I saw "Basix" but this seems like a very different unit. More in line with the Blue Thunder pre.

Anyone ever use this or own this preamp?

I don’t know about the unit, but I like the “expert” button with a light...I need a pedal with one of those!

Do you still have (and use) this preamp? I really like it, and combine it with a 1u rack power amp and a Warwick 1x12 cabinet. Sorry about bumping such an old thread, but there is very little information available about this preamp. I wish I had the schematic for it.
