I play upright bass at the beach where there is no power source hence the microcube and 6 double A batteries. My problem is that they poop out fairly quickly and while there is some volume its not really satisfactory after an hour or so. I believe that there are only 2 other battery powered amps: pignose and phil jones. The local music shop has told me that neither of these will do much more for me and recommends that i get a regular amp and power source but as mentioned this is not feasible.
Any recommendations?
