Simple question, can I use this Roland Cube (60w) guitar amp for bass guitar? I can get it cheap, and I need small amp for traveling... I've tried it, and it sounds good, but can I do any harm to it, since - there is a bass cube (eureka)?
Guitar amp in bass speakers = safe, guitar amp in guitar speakers is very likely to blow the speakers. A solid state amp can survive blowing a speaker, a tube amp won't.
Agree with Tony on this one, but I suppose if it's for low-level play it might get you by. I owned the Cube 60 a few years ago and thought it was dark, dry, and thuddy. Hey, maybe it would work for bass!
