Roland VB-99

The SY-1000 is like a VB-99 on steroids.
3 branches of synth/instrument modelling + normal pickup into 4 parallel paths with effects movable anywhere in the chain,
has the GT-1000 AIRD Amp modeling and effects.
You can run up to 4 preamps at the same time routed to any of the 4 outputs (2 main/ 2 sub with separate EQ & cabinet each channel).

Being (still) an avid VB99 user , I've never seen this video.
He probably doesn't use it anymore..... but interesting also for the interview part

Not right away - they are selling a D/A converter for those with a GK5B pickup that want to use the VB-99 (or SY-1000)

New GK pickups:
It's just placing A/D somewhere else to force us to buy new stuff.
Used to be in the processor , now it's in the pickup.
