rolling workstand for DAW: any recommendations?

I've recently decommisioned my recording studio, but am looking to have a small functional rig for small overdub and mixing projects that I can do from home. I've consolidated all the remaining recording hardware into two piles, one which fits into a ~30-something space rack, and the other pile that ...well, hence this thread.

What I'm thinking is a small rolling workstation that would hold the Mac (tower), keyboard & mouse, and monitor...connected to the rack via multicore umbilical, and that I can roll into place when I'm working on tracks ...but that I can push out of the way when I'm sitting at my desk doing anything other than recording

Anyone have a similar gizmo, and are there any particular models, or manufacturers/vendors you would recommend? Thanks.

I'd love one of these myself, for a small mobile recording unit like you want, but also for a mobile engineering measurement rig (with the casters replaced with large pneumatic units) - I can use the same PC and I/O for both. The few I've seen have been several hundred for simply the metalwork.

My nurse friend calls them COWs (computers on wheels) and they're common in hospitals.

I wound up ordering one of these, made by Kantek (sold through Wayfair). It's supposed to arrive by Monday, so we'll see how it works out.

The Kantek stand showed up today. It's going to work out perfectly!

...with two minor caveats:

- file this under the How The Sausage Gets Made category: None of the individual pieces struck me as being particularly robust, so while I was assembling I kept thinking "this thing is a poorly-made POS, what have I gotten myself into?!?!" But once it was all assembled and all the bolts were snugged tight, any concerns I had were alleviated. It's super solid, very sturdy, and it rolls like a greased baby's butt.

- I had forgotten that old Mac G4 towers have those wacky "handles" top and bottom, and so their footprint is slightly longer and less flat than one would expect from a computer that's supposed to stand upright. The platforms on the Kantek that are supposed to hold the computer are about 2" too short to provide a safe, secure platform for that odd footprint, so I'm going to have to get a small chunk of plywood or repurpose a cutting board to go in between the Mac and this stand.

But I'm psyched to have an all-in-one solution finally!
