I've recently decommisioned my recording studio, but am looking to have a small functional rig for small overdub and mixing projects that I can do from home. I've consolidated all the remaining recording hardware into two piles, one which fits into a ~30-something space rack, and the other pile that ...well, hence this thread.
What I'm thinking is a small rolling workstation that would hold the Mac (tower), keyboard & mouse, and monitor...connected to the rack via multicore umbilical, and that I can roll into place when I'm working on tracks ...but that I can push out of the way when I'm sitting at my desk doing anything other than recording
