Ugh I was all set to drive out from NYC and get it, but when I asked for the address, turns out it's in Raleigh, NC and the listing address was a mistake.
That's a pretty large red flag. Seen a couple of these pop up, where a hot deal is in your area... but it's actually not.
Someone pulled this with drums around here a week ago.
Seems like they are trying to get someone to send money, hoping for a delivery. Dollars to donuts, whoever does that loses some money.
Also FWIW, there isn't a listing for one in Raleigh. Fishy...

That's strange. But also when I asked about Venmo/Zelle vs cash, they specifically said they prefer cash. But yeah, definitely some red flags even if I don't understand the scam
I mean, if I was selling a bass like that and SOMEHOW accidentally filled out an NYC listing, accidentally typed Trenton NJ as the location, then somehow also spaced on the fact that I was actually in Raleigh NC... I'd at least list it in NC.
The again, it may be wiser to see a doctor because that kind of memory issue tends to indicate serious problems.
Or a scam.
