Up for sale is the finest fretless I have ever played, probably one of the finest basses I've ever owned. I bought it new and have had it about 6 months. It is flawless.

Body: Mahogany w/ Flame Maple Top
    Finish: Oil
    Preamp: Bartolini 3-Band
Pickups: Bartolini JJ in "JB" location
    Neck: 3-Piece Maple Neck
    Fingerboard: Lined Diamondwood Fretless Fingerboard
    Hardware: Black
    Case: Roscoe Single Gigbag
    35" scale
18.3 mm spacing at the bridge

These now cost around $3,000 new with a wait time of a few months. You can have one that is as new without the wait and save hundreds.

    $2,200 shipped.
    No trades.

So I've played thus beauty and it is amazing. If I hadn't broken down and ordered (and received) my own Roscoe fretless very much like this, I would buy this in a heartbeat.

Oops. That's what happens when you list two basses in two minutes cut and paste.

    Original post fixed.

New week bump. Haven't even had a ridiculously low offer. Surely someone wants a beautiful bass like this in as new condition and great Roscoe tone...

I would love to own a fretless of this caliber. I just can't afford a bass to sound terrible on in my living room.

I shouldn't be doing this, 'cause asking questions just gets me into trouble.... What kind of strings have you been using? Any fingerboard wear?

There's no wear at all. I have the stock nickel rounds on it. That Diamondwood is pretty tough.
