For sale is a beautiful Roscoe Century Standard Plus 4 string bass. Hand made at Roscoe Guitars in North Carolina, this bass was completed in August of 2010. It features an Alder body and a beautiful and rare Pale Moon Ebony top. The bolt-on neck is three piece maple and sports a maple fretboard. The hardware is all from Hipshot (Ultra Lite tuners and bridge). It features Bartolini CB pickups. The original Bartolini preamp was swapped out by the previous owner for an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp. The controls are Volume (which is a push/pull - Active/Passive), pickup pan, mid, stacked bass/treble. Sound wise this bass has a nice warm, but punchy tone. Not as "modern" sounding due to the Aguilar preamp. The neck has a Jazz profile, 1.5" wide at the nut and thickness wise feels very close to my '72 Jazz. The bass is in excellent condition, just very minor signs of use. No dings or scratches. Comes with a generic no name hard case. Specs....
