Research shows two such clubs, both defunct. The original Roscoe club had the nice and slightly original idea of people using their bass' serial number as their member number. As a Roscoe owner, I would be happy to run Roscoe Club 2.0, as member #4251. Everybody knows the rules, so pics or it didn't happen:
If you wanna join, post a pic of your Roscoe here, and you will be anointed with the serial number of your bass. So let's see 'em!
It is not defunct, it is in the process of becoming a reality with the launch of a new website. Steve is putting a lot of work into this project and it is going to be killer.
As the President of the ROC, I must say it is going to be sweet! You will be able to track a bass by serial number, which dealer sold the bass, who was the original owner, who is the current owner, bass build specs, pics and maybe even a short bass sound clip. Stay Tuned....
We have to keep pressure on Gard to get ubone the rest of the content. ubone will not launch until all content is ready, so it is still in the works. Visit the Roscoe Forum and post some pics of your bass.
