I’ve thought about trying some on my LG3000. I’m pretty sure it’s Spanish Cedar. I’ve got a couple extra sets of TI flats (not sure why as you never replace flats) that I use on my Classic P. It’s and expensive experiment, but might be fun to try.
It makes a great combo. I enjoyed this bass for years. Unfortunately I used it to get one of those dream basses on my friend's website. And yes, I miss it already. It's there at a great price.

@eweise2 : Donovan at FretSpot (on the dealer list) is someone that has built some special Roscoe basses for sale in his store. He seems to have an excellent rapport with KR, and his customers. I'd definitely talk to him about ideas.
For example, when Donovan ordered this bass, he asked KR to build what he thought Donovan might like. This is the stunning result: Roscoe Century Signature 5: Koa, Birdseye Maple, Wenge, Ash & More!

My wife asked me earlier today what I wanted for my birthday on October 15th. That would make a nice addition to my already crowded herd of basses!
The thing with Wyn basses is that each bass is a custom build. One has to be very careful buying used Wyn basses. That said, I’ll have to inquire about the build specs on that beauty.

You don't save any money going direct. Going through a good dealer can sometimes even save you money. Also, they have input and access that can help make for an overall better order experience...
i have them on my fretless 3006 SKB and i like them a lot...
here's a sample - maybe not the best, but it's recent...
Put some TI flats on the LG3000. They sound pretty darn good. Plenty of definition. Plenty of highs without finger noise - which is not necessarily good or bad. So my two 4 string Roscoe’s, for now, have TI flats.
