Roscoe Club

OK, so it's a 6-string. Will you be telling us more, or do we have to guess every specification?
(If true, I guess that your delivery date will be about 2 weeks more than quoted : )

That might be a fun guessing game. Or very frustrating.

OK. So the conversation with Keith went something like this.
  • Me: Keith, I’m having trouble sleeping at night. Can you help me out?”
  • Keith: Do you have one of my 6 string basses? No? Well that’s the problem.
  • Me: What is the most wicked top that you have in stock? And the most outrageous fretboard? And no, not an ash body, I have that already.”
He thought for a minute and spoke:
  • Crotch Walnut top
  • Katalox fretboard
  • Karina body
And so it shall be. A long, long time from now.

Ray, if I had to guess, if Keith would make it, you would buy it. ;)

I was a 5'er bass player from the start and I'll end my bass playing with a 5'er. However, I am only playing 6'ers now, though! But they are regular L/R 6-string guitars.

For once in my life, I have all of me basses stored in their cases and just my L/R's hanging on the wall.

I have no need for a 6 string at all, my Standard Plus (gloss) 5 and Classic P cover most anything I need to do, but I sometime feel a little like I’m missing the quintessential Roscoe bass.
I could also use a fretless 5. But then I’d have 4 and I prefer things in 3.
