Rotosound Stainless Swingbass Roundwounds 45 to 105 do have a little tighter tension than alot of other makes the same gauges. Compared to a DR Nickel Sunbeams or Fender Nickels 7250's for example. Everytime I put Rotosounds on a bass I have had to tighten the trussrod slightly. I have used Rotosounds for a very longtime so I know them well. These days I prefer Nickel roundwounds. If you like the Rotosounds but want a more balanced set use the Billy Sheehan 43 to 110...much better IMHO
