Round core strings for string through

Hallo,

My bass is a Cort A5 plus sc with a Hipshot A style bridge that makes string through possible. I like to equip this bass with DR Fat Beams. Do you think the round core of these strings could be a problem regarding the string through bridge?
Thank you for your thoughts on it

Give us your thoughts on the Fat Beams once you have played them for a while. I’ve always wanted to try them. I tried HiBeams on my G&L-M2500 and though many folks like them they weren’t for me. Pure Blues seem to be the right tone match for me, plus I find a nickel coated string easier on my fingertips.

Ok, no problem. But it will take some time, maybe 2-3 months.
I experienced the same with the hi beams - thats the reason I change to the Fat Beams. According to many reviews they got more bottom. The Blues are really interesting, but I try to avoid nickels since I react to them lately. Thanks again, I will report
