Been using only rounds (D'Addario XL and Ernie Ball Slinky) on it and not sure where to begin looking for a good set of round wounds.

Roundwound suggestions for Squier Jazz fretless?

expensive doesn't = good
I use EB extra slinky on all my fretlesses.
I have a set of S.I.T. strings to try, and they were cheaper than the EB's

Anything specific you're looking for that you're not getting with D'A and EB in terms of tone or playing feel?
A few suggestions...
DR Sunbeams (NPS roundwound on a round core).
GHS Balanced Nickels (pure nickel roundwound on a round core).
GHS Round Core Boomers (NPS roundwound on a round core).
I enjoy Rotosound rounds on my fretlesses, with an occasional set of DR HighBeams if I'm looking for a bit of a smoother sound.

It’s all preference. I like DR Hi Beams. I have a new bass that came with Dunlop Super Brights that seem good. I also like Stringjoy.
If you like lower tension you might like TI Jazz Rounds. I personally like rounds on Jazz basses and flats on my others.
I know that doesn’t help. The real answer is for you to suck it up and buy 3-4 different string sets and decide which you like best. But not everyone can do that. It’s a process.

Pricey, but in my 2 fretless ventures, TI Jazz Rounds were EXQUISITE!
You could try a coated round like Black Beauties. I use Red Devils on my fretless 5 with a coated board. They sound great and even work well with my piezo bridge.
I have a Squire Vintage Modified fretless Jazz.
I use the old school Rotosound RL66 Swing Bass stings. The old John Entwistle, Chris Squier, Jaco strings
I use nickel pressure-wounds on my fretless, easier on the fingers and the board. Most of the zing without the heavy wear, they sound like rounds that have been broken in already.
I've had great luck with Elixir nickel-plated Nanoweb's. Definitely warm sounding, & they last forever.
I would go with GHS pressure wounds for that tone. Deeper tone and smooth to the touch and easy on the finger board.
I really like DR Black Beauties on my fretless. I always say they have a darker tone, which sounds like a pun, but it’s true.
