Roundwounds for Rock Playing With A Pick

I'm looking for some roundwounds to play with a pick. This is for a somewhat dark-sounding 32"-scale bass that takes regular long-scale strings. I'm looking for 45-100-ish hex cores or 45-105 round cores that can be played pretty aggressively.

This bass doesn't seem to like the stiff 105 gauge Boomers I tend to prefer. I've tried 45-105 DR Sunbeams which feel good but dark, and 45-100 DR Lo-Riders, which feel good but sound a bit lacking in the EQ. My other bases are a PJ with 9050Ls and a Mustang with 45-105 Sunbeams. I just want a good balanced sound.
