Hey, im a new member to this forum, and really been enjoying reading lots of the threads, so much information here its great, so thanks for that!
Recently I've been really trying to work on my rhythm, practicing various divisions over time signatures, changing the beat placement of grooves i already know.... etc
But i remember being taught some simple drum rudiments ie paradiddle and really enjoyed/enjoy putting it to bass.
Im tring to practice my scales and arpeggios with groove so i develop both at the same time, but cant find anything specifically on rudiments.
I guess you could argue the definition of Rudiment -
But i guess i want to see it almost as fixed as a common scale, that i can learn and lock down and build on. if that makes sense?.....
Can anyone recomend any books, or helpful information, i was thinking of just buying some drummer rudiment books, or maybe there are some good bass ones ive havent spotted yet?....
Thanks for your time!
