Last time I spoke with him, he seemed appalled that I had a 36 waist...he's quite the character.

Uh-oh, I'm 6" more "circumferential" than that.

Some of my teacher's students are supposed to be getting some soon. I'll keep you posted.

Hopefully, that includes your teacher's non-students as well. I'm looking forward to my new Solano bass. Could've used it (or more to the point, the C-extension that it's coming with) yesterday in a concert, for Ravel/Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition (plenty of low Eb's and D's).

Rumano Salano is a SCUMBAG. He will take advantage of you and RIP YOU OFF IN ANYWAY HE CAN. The man is the scum of the earth. Instead of buying a bass from him, go to a reputable Bass dealer. YOU CAN FIND BETTER BASSES FOR LESS. Dont trust that dirtbag.
